Today was a day of sunburn for Jennifer and I on the campus of CSU. Not having a vehicle here for Staff Conference, we laced up our tennis shoes and hit the sidewalks of Fort Collins totally oblivious to the sun that was beating down on us. Between walking to church and down to the mall, I think we walked somewhere around 9 miles today. Although we really enjoyed the service this morning and being able to enjoy the outdoors this afternoon, as I sit down to write tonight, we both look like bright red lobsters just out of the pot...

Even with the sunburn and exhaustion from the heat, this evening was something special. All the campus missionaries gathered together tonight for a time of worship and to hear a message from our National Campus Director. It was something my eyes needed to see and my heart desperately needed. Joining together with so many campus missionaries in worship is incredible. Listening to our director speak of where God is moving in our ministry stirred my heart once again. As Jenn and I sat praying together in the arena, I couldn't stop the tears rolling down my face as I sensed God's presence in the room. I feel like God has something specific He wants me to hear during this time. My heart craves it and I'm eager to see what it is. Those intimate times with God where He speaks to my heart are the most precious things in my life. They are extremely raw and intense, but they are the most life-giving times in my existence. I can't wait to see what's in store...

Okay, so now for the the interesting weird part of the day that may sound random, but I thought you might enjoy it. Now I know fishing is popular, but have you ever seen one of these before? It's a live bait vending machine. Yes, you read that right. A vending machine for live bait. We came across it on our trip to the mall. Weird huh? The strange things you see in life...
There will be more to come on CSU...as for now, we need aloe vera and sleep.
