Sunny Saturday

Well after our trip to the infamous Babies R Us, we decided to go out and enjoy the sunshine yesterday. After going for a walk in the park and watching some little guy football (which by the way makes me want to be a coach...), we decided to once again go play a round of our new hobby...disc golf.

Overall, I'm really liking the game. I was skeptical of it at first this summer when I went out with our staff team and played for the first time, but now I'm starting to actually enjoy it. It's nice to get out and enjoy the sunny fall Texas weather without the humidity. Plus, I hear it's a good idea to get a pregnant lady walking :-)

Slowly, I think we're both improving. My goal is to get to at least a decent level of play so that I can take the Idaho guys I'm going to be working with out and play. It should be a good way to bond, discuss things, and do some discipleship.

For now we're still learning a lot of the basics and having a lot of fun with it. Look out though in a few years...with some practice, we'll be incredible! (we hope...)
