Baby Effects on Support

This week, we've gotten some questions about how our baby affects our monthly support goal in getting to campus. As you probably guessed, having a child brings more expenses to our household. A few weeks ago, our support coach helped us to re-evaluate our goal in light of our latest addition. Based on Crusade's support formulas, our monthly goal needs to increase because of our little one (dang the cost of diapers and insurance!).

Rather than give you all the details here in this post, I've made a pdf file that explains the number side of the our support goal increase. You can find the link to it in the sidebar under the "Support Raising Progress" section. It's called "Baby Effects on Monthly Support." Hopefully it will answer any questions you may have, but if you have any other concerns or questions, please shoot me an email at Jaisen.Pester@uscm.org and I'll get back to you with answers!

Bottom line is it looks like we may be raising support for a little while longer. Our ministry leaders don't want us to report to campus under funded with a newborn on the way. So please keep us in your prayers pretty intensely these next few weeks as we seek wisdom from the Lord in how to go about raising this increased support need. Thank you so much already for all of your prayers!
