What's in a Name?
It's starting. This past week, baby stuff has started making its way into the Pester household. (Let's just say we have some very excited grandparents!) With little baby clothes around the house, the realization has tangibly hit Jenn and I that we have the responsibility of naming our little one. It's kind of a big thing if you think about it. I mean, look at scripture. How many times have you been reading along in your quiet time and come across a passage where the person's name has significant meaning? I'm realizing that this naming thing is kind of a big deal...
Since we're planning on not finding out whether our little one is a boy or girl until the delivery, Jenn and I have to pull double duty on this naming deal. Over the last few weeks, we've been thinking and processing through names (mostly biblical ones). So far, we don't have any solid ones, but we have run across some that just won't work. Here's our discoveries...
If we have a little girl, we can't name her Esther. Esther Pester. Yeah, it just doesn't work with the rhyming. Recess times probably wouldn't be that much fun for her. Although it could be worse. Add in a middle name of Lester or something...
If we have a little boy, Peter and Paul are out the window. Actually, any names that start in P just won't work. I don't see good things happening with the initials and a little group of boys...
The search continues for us. It looks like we'll be looking through name books for awhile. :-)

What's wrong with rhyming???!!!! We almost went with Jomas McComas...overrulled at the last second with tame "Jenna". I like Esther Pester
Have you considered "John" yet?
