When God Heals...

One of the things I absolutely love about my job is that I get to see God work in some pretty incredible ways. Whether its through His provision, watching Him work in someone's heart, seeing His Gospel penetrate lives, or some other incredible thing He's done, it always amazes me to see God's creativity in bringing about His plan for a situation.

That being said, I saw something truly amazing yesterday that can only be attributed to God.

For the past few days, Jennifer's grandpa (Bob) has been in the hospital here in Tyler. The doctors brought him in at the beginning of the week get fluids in him through an IV to help pass the kidney stones they thought had developed in his kidneys. After further testing on two different machines however, 3 different doctors determined that he wasn't experiencing kidney stones but rather a tumor.

Yesterday, he went into surgery to have the tumor cleaned out and analyzed to see if it was cancerous. When the surgeon opened him up though, he found absolutely no traces of the tumor! The day before it was there. The doctors all were absolutely confident of its existence and had seen it with their own eyes in the tests. Now it was gone! When Bob woke up, the surgeon simply told him, "Yes indeed, we have a very big God!"

As believers, we read in the Bible all the times Jesus healed people as he was doing his ministry on earth. It's exciting to see the same thing happen today, especially watching God heal a person you know!

Never underestimate our God or the power of coming to Him in prayer. It is absolutely amazing to see what He can do!
