What's in a Name?...For Us, 25% so Far

Sitting down this weekend to fill out our weekly support raising update for our support coach, I noticed something pretty incredible that God has done with our support thus far.

Initially, when Jennifer and I began raising support last August, we started meeting with people we already knew to tell them about what God has called us to on campus. It was exciting at the start of our support raising to tell those we already knew how God had moved in our lives to bring us together and call us to ministry!

Each time we met with someone, we asked them if there any other believers they knew who might be encouraged by hearing our story and calling into ministry. As a result, over the last nine months, we've moved from a place where we knew each person prior to meeting with them to a spot where now each support appointment we go on is a new opportunity to meet believers we've never met before.

This "networking" place has been a faith stretcher for us as we've continued to have to rely on God time and time again to open up new avenues for us to keep raising support. God likes to keep us on our toes! Each time we just about run out of people to talk to, He opens up a bunch of more believers for us to get in contact with. Let me tell you, we have met some incredible believers and churches through the doors God has opened up for us!!!

Anyways, back to the weekly support update. As I was filling in the support we received this week, I noticed that roughly 25% of the current 57% monthly support we are now at is from individuals we did not know before setting off in August to raise support. It's pretty amazing to see God work time and time again to provide for us. Getting us in contact with that many believers has truly been a blessing to us!

Please pray the God would continue to open up new doors for us to speak with believers in the area. We're at another point right now where God has us on our toes...we don't have that many believers left to talk to. Praise God for His faithfulness thus far, and pray that He would mightily open up some new doors for us to finish out the remaining 43% of our monthly support soon!
