Kings & Excel

A couple weeks ago, I posted about how I was undergoing a study on the Kings of Israel and Judah. Overall, it has been great; God has really taught me a lot through the different kings He used in the past to lead His people. Digging into 1 & 2 Kings and 2 Chronicles however, I found that there was just a ton of information that was hard for me to keep track of...He was the son of who now? Which king ruled opposite to him in the Divided Kingdom? What was the name of that prophet that spoke to him?...You get the point.

So, being the organizational-minded person I am, I developed a spreadsheet to track the different facts about the various kings listed. Now I know I'm not a Bible scholar and that this listing isn't fully complete (there is a lot of history in other books I didn't cover), but I thought I would share my Excel spreadsheet with you. Who knows, maybe it will help you organize it all a little better as well! You can download the Excel file by clicking here. (As I study the prophets of the Old Testament, I will probably updating the file with the additional facts that I discover.)

Download the file and check it out if you want. Hopefully, you'll enjoy reading about the kings as much as I have!
