An Arkansas Weekend

With a full tank of gas, the car all packed up, and a map in our hands, we're hitting the road this weekend bound for the hill country of Arkansas.

Our trip has two purposes. For the first couple of days, Jennifer and I will be camping out at Petit Jean State Park taking a mini-vacation to celebrate our one year anniversary. We'll be able to do some hiking, see waterfalls, relax, and connect with God and each other. (Oh yeah, and cook smores of course!)

On Sunday we'll be back to raising support. On our way back to Tyler, we'll be stopping at Little Hope Church just outside of Mena, AR to speak at the evening service and share with the congregation about our ministry and all God is doing today on college campuses. We hope that this time goes well and that God really uses it to connect others' hearts to our ministry!

We need your prayers this weekend. Please be praying for the following things!

• Pray that we would have a relaxing few days camping and that God would really use the time to rejuvenate us for the rest of our initial support raising. We really want to connect with the Lord in a deep way this weekend!
• Pray that God would guide us as we prepare for our talk at Little Hope Church on Sunday. Pray that God would speak through us to touch the hearts of others and get them involved in what He is doing on campus!
• Pray for our safety as we travel.
