Montanan in East Texas Spring...

Spring in East Texas...its not the snow melting, occasional green patch season I knew in eastern Montana. No, it's much more than I imagined. It's an incredible colorful display of God's creation.

This afternoon, Jennifer and I took a walk down the Azalea District of Tyler. (It's a historic section of town popular for its blooming flowers each spring.) It was pretty incredible to see all of the colors in each home's yard. The flowers seemed to grow everywhere like wildfire...

I've decided that God likes to show off in his artwork, and I think that is perfectly fine with me. From the stunning majestic mountain peaks to the small intricacies of a flower, I enjoy seeing God's creation in nature.

However, I could go without the eight inches of accumulated pollen that has settled on my car and turned it a putrid yellowish green. I'm not too sure about the allergies yet either...benadryl may become my new best friend in the coming weeks.

Overall, I think it's worth it though to see everything in full bloom and full of life...
