Interesting Prayer Conversation...

We had some giggles tonight in the Pester house. It's pretty funny sometimes how as humans we mishear and misunderstand conversations...

(The scene: Jenn and I are praying before making some support phone calls...)
Me: Father God, thanks for really shaping my heart lately...
(Giggles start coming from Jennifer. Pretty soon she's laughing deeply out loud.)
Me: What are you laughing about? This is serious!
Jennifer: Did you just thank God for shaving you?
Me: (shaking head) No, I said shaping not shaving. You think I'm praying some sort of wilderness prayer? Seriously, "thank you God for shaving me"???...
(At this point we both start laughing...)

Yeah, I know we're a strange couple. Tonight's lesson? Be thankful that God shapes and not shaves you.
