Coincidence? I Think Not...

Sometimes it's just simply amazing to see the way God orchestrates things...

Last night, Jennifer and I finished up the evangelism training we've been undergoing for the last several weeks at our church. It was a great night of God speaking to my heart. Our pastor spoke on the importance of prayer and basic follow up in evangelism. What hit me the most though was his comment on how we still need to be persistent in relationships even if someone does not come to Christ after we've shared the Gospel with them.

As I sat there listening, I had a fleeting though of Todd (you'll recognize his name if you've read our newsletters this summer and early fall). Things had just kind of ended with him after I shared the Gospel. I hadn't heard from him in a couple of months and had moved on and started working with other students on Everystudent.com. I thought it was kind of strange that he was coming to the forefront of my mind...

Well this morning God showed me why. As I opened up my inbox to check my email, guess who had sent me a message. Yup, even though it was light and simple in subject, it looks like he wants to start talking with me again.

So it looks like maybe God is orchestrating something. I really don't know what He has in store with the situation, but honestly I'm kind of excited seeing it play out in front of me. It's always fun to see God's little surprises! Please be praying. I guess it's back to emailing for Todd and I...
