The Hunt for a Nausea-Free October

So apparently, the first trimester and nausea go hand-in-hand. That's the lesson I've been learning these last few weeks as Jenn and I continue down the path to becoming parents. They call it "morning sickness." Hmm....whoever named it that hasn't been around our house lately. It's been more of a "24-hour sickness" if you ask me.

We've been on a hunt the last week trying to figure out something that will calm Jenn's nausea. Crackers, ginger ale, peppermints, baked potatoes...we've tried everything that has been suggested to us. Yesterday, we even went on a search for some sort of candy sucker called "Preggie Pops" that are apparently formulated to calm nausea associated with pregnancy. We tried Walgreens, CVS, and even Toys-R-Us (we heard that you could find them there), but we had no luck...

So the hunt continues here in the Pester household for something to calm the nausea. Yes indeed, the hunt for a nausea-free October is in full force. Be praying that we find something soon!

Okay, so we found the "preggie pops" today...the verdict is still out though on whether they work or not...
