Enough!!!

Okay, so I'm convinced that ever since Jennifer and I found out that we're having a baby, that all of our electronic equipment decided to go on revolt at once and make me freak out about having repair bills. Two weeks ago, my hard drive fried in the computer. Our pontiac also decided to have a dead battery, blinker problems, and a belt replacement. To top it off, our honda decided that the air conditioner would go on the fritz and wear one tire extremely thin. I thought after fixing all the problems, we were out of the clearing...little did I know.

Tonight, we had an evangelism training time at the church in Lindale. It was wonderful. We both were eager to put stuff we had learned into practice soon. All of the sudden though on the drive home (when we were just about to our apartment), the steering when hard, the battery and oil pressure warning lights came on, and I could feel the engine loosing power. As quickly as I could, I pulled off to the side of the road into a driveway that just happened to be for a construction site. We got out the flashlight and popped the hood. Two hours later (after a couple visits from the security guard) we finally got the car loaded on to Jenn's grandparent's trailer. I still don't know what is wrong with it...

So tomorrow, instead of finishing out our newsletter like I had planned, I'm going to be working on the car with Jenn's dad. I'm beginning to think that either there is some crazy warfare right now going on with us trying to discourage us from ministry with a child or that I should just not touch electronics. Either way it's extremely frustrating...

Pray for us. It's been a roller coaster last couple of weeks...

Well, it turns out the car has a bad fuel pump. I'm working on getting it put in this week :-(
