Spending Time With My Nephews

This past week, I entered into a land where snakes and toads are analyzed intently, where trucks and cars are highly valued for the crash sounds they make, where alligators eat toes, and above all else the mighty T-Rex reigns. No, I'm not loosing it. I simply entered into the world of my two young nephews this past week.

Jennifer and I traveled to Oklahoma to visit her family this past week. It was a great time for me to get to meet more of her family and get to know them better. Although visiting with family was wonderful, I think my favorite part of the trip was playing with my two young nephews, Brandley and CJ.

I had forgotten how full of energy two little boys can be, but let me tell you I had a blast playing toys with them. Giant T-Rex roars, dump trucks, flying disks, stuffed snakes...yup, it was fun!
Here's some pictures:

Jenn thinks my "Dad Gene" comes out when I'm around young kids. What can I say? I kinda like hanging out with them. They have great toys, open hearts, and inquisitive minds. Someday...far far far in the future...maybe this "Dad Gene" will become a reality. :-)
